Mile Hi IMAC Challenge 2012

Come join us for the 2nd annual Mile Hi IMAC Challenge! Last contest of the year for Colorado, it should be a great time! We have free shirts for the pilots and volunteers this year.

Also, the club is putting in $300 toward an Aeroworks plane for the pilot and volunteer raffle!!! Thank you Mile Hi RC!!

Registration

AMA sanctioned and will count toward Southwest regional points and Tucson Aerobatic Shoot-out

AMA Membership required
All IMAC classes and freestyle
IMAC contest rules prevail
Pilot, panel, ASC and sound will be scored
Contestant judging
Pilot registration starts at 7:30am
Pilot’s meeting at 8:30am
Flying starts at 9:00am
Freestyle Saturday after last sequences
Concessions available onsite
Awards for each class plus sponsor prizes
Registration fees: $35
$25 for IMAC Members
$15 for Basic contestants

Field is open today for practice. Should have the gate open around 9am. Great weather today for practice. Weekend looking as good!

I'm not going to make it. Out of pocket a substantial amount from the Throwdown, and 3 hours a day on the road is too much for me. I will be manning a booth at the Larimar country fair for the Team Extreme airshow team instead. Have fun out there guys- maybe next year.

So Jim and Mark are navigationally challenged individuals. They live in Colorado, have been to the Mile Hi Field before, had two GPS devices in their vehicle, stopped to ask for directions and still managed to show up an hour and a half late for the start of our contest. They almost made it to Kansas before they realized they missed their turn.

I'm sure glad they are not full scale pilots or they would be the ones we hear about on the news. I'm still not quite sure how they are semi-successful flying toy airplanes....
