I have both the 60% extra 260 and 57% extra 300 here is a vid of the 260 both have 420's.

I miss the 50% or > planes. Unfortunately they are nit suited to 5800ft of altitude.... sigh

Hi guys -

Sorry I left this thread hanging. Unfortunately, the 420 seized up on the second flight despite my best efforts at proper baffling. I was able to put her safely down but the engine has been at TBM for repair for many months now and I am waiting to get it back, reinstall it and try again. For the short time I had her in the air, I can say I was truly impressed by how agile she was considering the size. I never got an all up weight but I would be surprised if it was under 120 lbs. Not sure what to do if I keep having overheating issues with the engine as I really did baffle the heck out of it and don't know of any other options to keep the engine from seizing again.

When I finally get the engine back, I'll post more pics and some video. It really is an impressive thing to see in the air!

Does anyone know of the height of the highest point (from the looks of it , its the rudder) I have a kit still in the box and want to make sure I put my cross braces in my trailer high enough to clear it
