Stihl HP Ultra is synthetic oil. Stop running the engine on the ground like that, adjust the carburetor and go fly the darn thing.

Me too!! The DLE 20 is mounted.

58 inch removable wing Slide. 1064 squares. Boy and howdy I have annoyed lots of people with that plane....does it all on 13 inch pounds of wing loading.........

Before with Saito 125 it weighed 6 lb on the mark. Full of fuel 6 lb 10.5 oz...you guys have seen if fly...very light.

I got WF to help me router out the rails, I mounted it today with a 6 oz fuel tank.

6 lbs 8 ounces no fuel, 6 lb 12 oz with the tank full.... That is 1.5 ounce over before.....I am using the same A123 1100 for igniton and flight.(two power leads and an ignition voltage reducer)... expect 40 minutes before recharge....

On Saito 125 the JC Super PRop 17x4 E Gen 1 was getting 82 to 8400...did everything at half throttle and below...

With the exact same prop on the first tank I got 8800 and a 1500 rpm idle, Idle is great on the airframe, if you click it up to 2000 the harmonics shake the frame well....Smooths out at 2200....1500 good....8800 good....

This thing has a throttle response like a top fuel....as fast as the HS-81 can take it.....Some tweaking, might get to fly it tomorrow, or at least at the pro bro this weekend...

So far.....winner.

Re: DLE20

How is the shaking compared to the saito 125?

I am looking at possible replacement of my YS 1.10. However, the YS is such a power house with instant throttle response. However, it would be much cheaper to run the gas vs the glow and the mess cleanup would be better.

Throttle response is pretty darn good on this one. Kinda hard to compare the shake over Saito 125, It has that bad spot at about 2k. The idle seems about like the Saito and midrange similar.....Guess I need to get it in the air and will know more.

Glad you set him straight Jody......I know another guy that will probably do the same kind of breakin when he gets his DLE 20. Only he'll use Amsoil 100-1 and mix it at 32-1, ........No I'm not kidding either.

Dont wanna offend any one but I just wanna be extra cautious before investing in one.I burnt a big hole with the 55 bearings failing in air it tore off the head from the case got no service here in asia had sent it in for replacement of bearings before hand they sent it back stating its from the new batch no issues with this batch. If you have any pics it would surely be good.
