I have the wildhare skhoi with a 3MM Engine what prop dod you prefare ??
i have use a mejnz 22x10 & Vess 22A I did not like the pull

how about the Vess 23 A Or 23 B ?? any sugestion

Im using a Zoar 23-8 with good results. Very fast pull out with may sd-yak. Im getting around 6900rpms. Tried a jfx22-8 did not pull out very fast.

I usually use 22-10menz wood prop. I want to know if 23-8like mezjlik had lot of trust

any mor sugestion ???

I use a Xoar 22 x 8 on my WH Sukhoi

I have about 35 flights on my Yak 55 using the Vess 23A. No complaints. Tried a WildHare 23A tonight, only got one flight before the rain. Seemed similar to the Vess.

what is your RPM on the Vess 23 A

I run a Vess 22A on mine with good results. Problem with 3MM is what configuration are you running. Got the new reed block?? Tuned pipe? Frank Bowman ring?? Lots of variables with this engine that can change the performance significantly and change the prop selection with it.

I installed WildHare's V reed block and got a little over 7000 on the Vess 23A. Before, I got just under 6800. The reed also cured my mid-range "burble", and the hesitation in transition. After installing the reed, I had to lean the top end a bit.

Al, could you give some info on the Frank Bowman ring? I haven't heard about it. Thanks.

I have a 23B that doesn't unload like i like it to and will never peak the rpm, cause it is just a touch too big- This engine (for me) likes the 23A, 22/8 bunny prop, and liked the 23/8 bunny prop as well....

I wanna say I was only taching 6400 or maybe less with the 23B.....

I had Adam Vorhees at BCMA Engines install mine but I believe Frank has his own web site. It definitely ups the compression!!! You replace two rings with one ring which cuts down the heat too. I think this is his e-mail address.

Hey there Al- What about performance? noticeable? I could stand to have a little more power, not that the engine is lacking..... I have redundant batteries, and a couple of repairs, and now the whole airframe is covered in monokote, so.... well...... she's a bit porky......
The reed upgrade just might be the ticket- maybe the ring too?
