Anyone know where I can find tail wheel springs that look like this pic?
I found some at McMaster-Carr, but they are too big.

Any help would be awsum.

Goto sears hardware they have a large collection of springs...Let me know if you cant find them I could possible get you some but Most hardware stores have them in the slide out boxs. If you want to spend a couple of bucks Carden Aircraft sells a setup ready to go for tail wheel springs..

Rumor has it Ace Hardware also has them. Not sure...

Carden is selling them now also.

Actually you can easily make your own. I find the proper size springs at the hardware store and bend your own music wire. It's better than buying one becaus as you're putting it together you can run one of the music wire bends through the tailwheel control arm making a neat installation.

Any local camping store, you get them on the end of tent ropes
