Just received my 3D Canisters for the DA170 in my 41% Truworthy Pitts 12 and all I can say is WOOOOOOOW!

Cannot wait to get them installed and the plane up and flying this coming spring.

I'll definitely be looking for other possible installs where I can use your canisters!

Dave, I'll see what happens this year. If my AW Extra 300 survives another season I'll get a set of these on it with a DLE111. It is currently set up with mufflers. My AW Edge with the same motor is set up with MTW cans so then I can directly report back with the improvement.

Has anyone done an install in a SX with a DA170 and these cannisters??? Just wondering what header Drop I need....

If I'm not mistaken I'm thinking 90mm drop is the most you can get in a conventional header. That's what I’m using on my SX with MTW 110"s. The problem you might have is they might not fit under your wing tube. Since that is what they will need to do with the recommended header length for the pro flows. <O</O

Yeah, I think you are right. 90MM does ring a bell, You would think I would remember as I have built many of these with canisters. I don't think the landing gear will be a factor with a 10.5" header length. Mith is well known as one of the smoothist Harrier rollers around and now he is about to get smoother.

Hi Andy. I will say this, No canister will ever provide the top end power that a properly installed "Pipe" will, As they both work differant from each other. As far as my Canisters compaired to MTW or any other brand? I simply don't compair them. I just try to provide a High quality, American Made Canister that will allow the user to enjoy smooth transision with a quiet operating sound leval. Some users have reported to me that they were very happy with the power these provide.
