I am pleased about this plane, I have never made a secret that I love the look of the P3.
Can I ask a question about the fuse size on the off chance one of the horizon guys can do a quick measure and answer, how tall is the fuse with the UC off? so from the bottom of the fuse to the top of the top wing? Width of the cowl would be nice too. Reason I ask is I have a space built into my camper originally for a yak 30cc and I fancy this as a replacement, basically I carry a plane with me at all times and if the weather is nice I go fly. The space is restricted cos it is a camper first. Normal 50 cc mono planes are too long but this is more or less the same length as a 30 cc. With the rudder removable. Hopefully someone can do a quick measure. |

BTW....
Does anyone know if the mfg of Skip's full size P-3, Weimo Netherlands, still intends to sell the ARF's of the ~40% version of the P-3? Saw some vid's of it a few years ago flying with a 4 cylinder 220 and it was quite impressive, to say the least

They have been selling them for a couple of years now. Bare white fiberglass version, 3900 euro, normal kit 6200 euro,. black weave finish, 1625 euro and the scale motordome in stainless 1200 euro or so, all plus delivery, so not for everyone. Prices accurate about a year ago, so they may have changed a small amount. |

Has anyone seen anything about estimated delivery dates??
EDIT: So apparently somebody has seen info on a delivery date (Post #21). However, I failed to read that post since it did not have any interesting photos of videos!! |
