DLE 70 where is it?

Is there any talk of a DLE 70 in the future?

Ahh my mistake were talking a twin 70cc I was thinking single.

We have lots of choice for a 50cc model now, 50cc, 60/61cc, now a 70cc,
70cc performance would be very unlimited i would think lol,

I really like my EME-70 twin, its on an Extreme flight 91" Extra 300 EXP. Dry weight of 19 pounds 2 ounces 24 3D A Xoar prop...... It will hover a little over 1/3rd throttle

Yep,I think the DJ72 will be every bit as good as the EME's are now,if not better.
It's still early to tell how it will hold up but the power is there, along with the best throttle response of any of the china engines.
And now back to the 70DLE twin.

Yes that is another reason I went with the EME 70, I do have to say that I did put Frank Bowman rings in it. Very nice and smooth idle and great transition and throttle response is very good.

I wouldn't expect to see a DLE 70 based on the 35 cylinders because of their rear exhaust configuration. Using those on a twin would complicate exhaust installation as the mufflers would be very unconventional compared to anything else available. Muffler to firewall clearance could be a problem. They could come out with a different cylinder I suppose.

For those who might ask, I doubt they could turn the cylinders 90 degrees as the porting is not designed for that orientation and piston skirt support would be poor.

Nice to hear your EME 70 is doing well.I just ordered one for a Extreme Flight Yak and have the Bowman rings on the way too.I will start with a Falcon 24X9 on her.Was going to get a DA70 but the 350 dollar price diff with mufflers and the fact that this engine will cowl without relief made the easy choice.

The only negative I here about the EME70 is that it isn't up to power with the DA.
Like you said close to 1,000 for a engine is hard for me also.

Yes that is true, mainly because of the angled plugs, but if you use Bowman rings, they help a ton. The original rings end gaps were at about 20 thousands and the Bowman rings measured out at 02 thousands..... much better compression = more power, smoother running
