Re: Show us your trailer setup pictures

You guys pay 6 for the same reason we pay 3... taxes.
If the tax on gasoline were removed it would drop by a dollar (or more) in the US.
I suspect by MUCH more in the UK.

Aren't governments fun? If you can't live within your means, give yourself a raise.

Oh yea... almost forgot... cool trailers.
That van setup is sick. You must take the whole hobby shop to the field with you.

Perhaps something that is as small as possible but will still cart a 2.6m plane and minimum accessories. Around 3 x 7ft?

I'll post some pics of mine tonight.......

Its 4x10 wedge, was orginally a 4x8. it fits 1 35% easily.....will fit 2 35% if you take stabs off and I put racks on the side to carry my .40 funtana and 2meter pattern plane also.

Trailer weighs nothing and I tow it with my v6 magnum

Oh I just measured it for a 42% plane. it will fit but its really tight. I'll have to take the stabs off just to be safe

What about the "glider" trailers like this.
40% no problem. Weigh like 250 lbs!!!

You guys able to pull 12VDC out of the trailer hitch? I'd love to pull 12VDC from my hitch to the bed of my truck for charging and a stereo system. Any ideas? Any examples of that?

Most of the newer trucks use a round trailer plug with about 7 pins and one of the pins is 12v. If not you could just get a flat 2 pin connector from the auto parts store and run it from the battery to the hitch.

It get's my plane to the field. sorry about the pics I used my video camera

and yes my ford focus pulls it very nicely at 30mpg.

I got the trailer in a box that could fit in my trunk for 200 dollars at Harbour Freight. Thats with registration. Then I added about 200 dollars in wood.
