I used the stock springs when it was built. Lost one then went to hardware store and got some a bit shorter with about the same tension. Work much better.

I used stock springs, no troubles. They are easy to shorten if you need to but you really don't need a lot of tension on them.

Yeah stock springs are fine. I just needed one for replacement so I bought some extra.

I have running an EME 60 with the stock muffler. Do I need to put the motor box cover on? I already have it buttoned and realized I left it on the bench.

Just got a great deal on this plane and completed a maiden flight yesterday. Wow I wish they still produced these what a great flying plane.
