EQ 6 and capacitors...

Hi All

I have the 2.4 Ghz JR RX and i saw that some guys from our local field are using a capacitor in there RX in order to stop a DC fall.
I thought that this is a wonderful idea and that some guys around the world really recommend this set up, because of the 2.4 sensitivity when it comes to DC fall.
So if they do why not check it out...
But then i saw in my EQ 6 2 big capacitors sitting down one in each side of the EQ6.

Long story short, are these two capacitors in the EQ 6 can help in a situation of a DC fall?

What if i will connect a Fromeco DCUP to the system?

Thanks again,

Adi

Re: EQ 6 and capacitors...

Hi Adi,
In my opinion you don't need a DCUP on any PowerExpander/PowerSystem. The large caps you see are on the servo regulator. The receiver regulator has a 150uF cap on it. I think a DCUP will work on a PowerExpander/PowerSystem but I have not tried it. My only concern is what the capacitor impedance is as if its too low it will affect the receiver regulator in a negative way, it may make it unstable.
