EQ10 question

When hooking two packs up to my EQ10 only one battery light will be lit up. When I un-hook one battery the light that was out will turn on.

Is this a redundancy feature that if one pack goes bad the other one will take over. Or should both packs supply power at the same time and run in parallel?

Re: EQ10 question

i have a eq10 in one of my planes and both lights light up on the board.maybe the voltage on one of your batterys is low and will not light up the one light.i also have a eq6 and both lights light up on the board together, both units have two batterys for redundancy.you can contact bob at smartfly and run it by him and see what he has to say.hope this helps.marc

Re: EQ10 question

Teky2,

Thanks for the reply. You were correct. Hooked up two fully charged packs and both lights lit up.
I am in the initial setup phase on a 35% plane so I didn't fully charge packs.
I guess I will now know if one packs has low voltage or a pack issue if only one light in the future.
