Just spoke with Curtis. Apparently the factory supplied tank is also a 32oz. What I really need is something bigger. The 120 really sucks gas. Stephen actually ran it totally out of gas once on a long upline, and suggested I lower my flight timer from 10 minutes to 8. So, with me having less than 1/10th the flying skills of Mr. Washington, I took his advice. And 8 minutes just ain't long enough...

I put a 32oz in my EF yak with da60, works like a charm, very easy to use and very high quality! Would buy another in a heartbeat.

What fuel line material is being used for the clunk line? I would have expected Viton rubber.

After many different bench and flight test I have found that the fuel line we provide has superior lifespan over Tygon. No fuel lines last forever but I want to provide the best product possible at reasonable cost to our valued customers.

Hello Phil,
I have a DA120 installed in an Aeroworks 100cc Edge 540. With the 32 oz tank I'm flying the timer set at 10 minutes. With 10 minutes of really hard flying there is still about 1/4 of the tank left. I think you may have your needles set really rich and this is causing less than desired run times. Are you looping the vent line behind the tank and then forward to prevent the fuel from syphioning on downlines?

The clunk line is a hybrid vinyl material that was developed with the specific purpose to withstand gasoline and ethanol. If you can find gasoline without ethanol blended in, your fuel tubing will last three times longer. All types of tubing have a certain usable lifespan for the indented application. The tubing used with the Fourtitude R/C tanks has proven to last much longer than traditional Tygon branded tubing sold for the R/C hobby application.

Hello STLAV8R,
We have had plenty of request for a 24 and 50 oz tank. Those request are not beign ignored and are currently on the top of my development to do list! Wish I could give dates but I'm just not sure yet at this time.
Thanks,
Jason

Frank,
I knew you would like this product after watching you wrestle a few tanks around the basement! Got the De Icer ready yet?

Hi Jason.
Yep, I've got the vent line looped. And I suppose it's possible it's a bit rich, but the dang things running so well I'm afraid to touch the needles. Matter of fact, I've not touched them one time. I took it out of he box, bolted it on and set up landing & flight idles. thats it. Ran 5 gallons of break-in through it & now it's on synthetic. It runs like a scalded dog with perfect transition. I'm thinking this may be the best engine ever made. :-) Now granted, Stephen was 3D'ing the heck out of it, with lots of WOT runs, and I generally don't do that...

And also, I need to say that perfect landings are NOT my strongpoint, and I frequently need to "go around" for another shot. So an extra few ounces would be a welcome safety net for me...

LoL I understand your point on this subject So are your flying really hard 3D and WOT 3/4 of the time? I'm guessing no. I would fly a few normal "Phil" flights and you will be suprised at how much fuel is left.
