Most questions can probably be answered on here. Is there another reason for calling them?

I done what 49dimes said and it has made the bottom end a lot smoother that was the only thing i wanted to change, thanks 49dimes for the tip.

Got another gallon through my EME 60 and also tested the new lipos for the HV set up I installed in the Edge and I must say all is good in the world.

With weather changes I re- tuned and actually picked up 150 rpm at peak setting (7150) and backed off to 6900. Looks like the new crank is doing well. I can't remember if the Rcexl ignition
that came with the engine is 2s rated or not but it did not skip a beat and the throttle response with the Mejzlik 24x8 and pro flo is smooth and sweet. Low hover is easily maintained with out having to pulse the stick and pull outs are just plain awesome. So as of now 20 total gallons through the engine and 4 gallons since the new crank went in.

PS I capped the day and went to 5 guys for........DOUBLE BACON CHEESEBURGER!!!
Are you referring to the ground RPM or in flight?

Ground rpm as measured with on board Rcexl Tachometer.

I bought this engine to see if it would pull a 32lb warbird (a future project) i have it in an extrem flight yak 88" 22lbs with a ks 1060 but have put the header at 12.5" so not to come on the pipe because i will only be able to use a cannister in the warbird. pull out from hover with a menz 24x8 is instant so their is hope for the warbird.

I'm 600 feet ASL. I run the Falcon 24x8 carbon and use 35:1fully synthetic mix. Stock muffler.
6600 is the max. RPM on the ground but it will pass 7400 at WOT up in the air.
Good reliable transition with slightly rich sound when cold. Easy to start. Leaning it makes it very hard to start. Am I just about where I should be with the needless?

Yes. You know your tune is spot on when you have to let the cold engine warm up a bit before you can punch it to WOT with out dying. It can make it a little more difficult to take a prime but I have found no problems at sea level. Prime once at the field and most of the time it is a matter of re-fill the tank, go hot, one flip to a running engine. Wish my DA 120 would do that!

will retarding the ignition lose top end power? i noticed the other day the idle sounded like it had a slight misfire in it. starts super easy and great transition. ive got 1.5 gallong through it and changed the plug and mixing some synthetic gas for the next time out. is moving the timing going to change much? im going to retune next time out also
