Anything on this yet?
I would be interested in a hardware upgrade as well.

I've been told no.

Someone also started a rumor of a "trade in program" but that also is not true.

I understand why, so no biggie just preordered the new one.

Andy Kunz from Spektrum has explained in detail that the DX18 Version 1 CANNOT be upgraded. Too much hardware involved to do it.

If you go to RCGroups.com > Aircraft- General > Radios > New Product > Spektrum DX18 and start at about page 500 you will find all the discussions about making an impossible upgrade.

Couldn't be simpler.. Just sell your old DX18V1, add more $$$$ and buy the new DX18v2 when it's available. The ultimate hardware upgrade.

I recently purchased a Jeti DS16 and just got to fly it for the first time this weekend. I plan to hang on to my DX18 though, at least for the time being...

Hey Guys,
Just started to redo my Dalton ML with a PowerBox setup instead of the Spektrum AR12120. I was just curious, what is the difference between the two selectable frame rates in the DX-18 ? Which is better ? Is there a better or a worse ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Zach

11ms is faster but some servos can't take it.

On a plane, I doubt you'd ever notice.
