Next I assembled the tail wheel, and bent the control rod that will go in the rudder. The rudder is precut and drilled for the tail wheel. I glued the rudder and tail wheel in place, and drilled the whole for the pull pull rod. The tial wheel bracket is held on with three screws to the bottom of the fuse.

I used the template that came with the spe 26cc, to drill the hole in the fire wall. There are lines on the template and lines marked on the firewall. The right thurst is all ready built in to the motor box. I used the washer and bolts that came with the motor.

now I am going to mount the stabs and elevators. You can use two servos or a single servo setup. I am going to use the single servo setup to save some weight. First you need to cut a slot in the covering to to push the connecting rod threw, that joins the two elevators together. Next mount the two stabs and secure them with the two screws. The elevators already have the hole drilled for the joiner rod. Now test fit the elevators to make sure, the two halves line up, make any adjustments as needed. Now that I have the two halves adjusted correctly, I glued the the elevators in place.

Next I got all the hardware mounted on the control surfaces, and the servos installed and connected to the control rods. All the hardware you see is stock.

The throttle servo has two precut holes to mount it in depending on which side you needs to mount it. I glued the doubler in place and mounted the servo, and control linkage.

Josh, sure looks like it's coming along great! Do you think you will be able to debut it this weekend at the Greenville Fun Fly? Keep it going!

I mounted the ignition on one side on the engine box and the battery on the other side. I am running a Dualsky lithium-polymer two cell 1000mah battery, no regulator is needed the ignition can handle up to 18v.
