If I ever get one it will have a DA-120. Nothing like reliability and power to spare

The extra is going to weigh less and is a much cleaner airframe than the yak. Just keep that in mind. I'm not pooping on the 120, just this plane isn't comparable in that area to the yak.

Yep, I fully understand that. I'm just saying it's an amazing combination on the Yak. I really can't even imagine what it must be like on a smaller, lighter airframe. Bivens offered to let me fly one of his 104's in Chattanooga last year, I should have taken him up on it..

It's in riverview. They used to hold TC3D there.
So you must know Adam and Harry? They fly out at trac.

Does the New 104" Extra come with a CF Spinner, if not what size does it require?

Thanks

vanhey1, the Extra does not come with a spinner. Chris is using the Mejzlik 4.5".

I see you already named your 60" Extra "Junior" ( JR ) and you don't even have the 100cc Extra yet!

Thanks Justin!

Blair, If JR is short for Junior, you have to admit that it is better than FA or something for Futaba. In that case, I plan to name my 104 "Junior" as well. You can only know what that means... It will still need a big brother!

Man I just love those JR 3421 servos!

Lol.

Glad to hear you're liking those 3421's. I bought some too and people have been saying that stronger would be better. I'm hard on servos but I know you are so I'm sure I'll be fine if you like them.

Do you have the elevator and ailerons going to their full extent?

Oh yes, I also named mine Junior.
