Thanks, Ericb for answering him. And to add, I switched to a vess 19a as the airframe with a 20a was not happy. 19 a spooled up fast and pulled the extra well.

Thank you both, ericb and robbinsp.
How happy are you with the performance (especially vertical and hover pull out) using the DLE-30?

plenty happy. it could use more, so i am eagerly awaiting the upgrade to da-35 when it is released. I will be posting a comparason at that time.

the airframe is adequately powered, but pullot from hover is somewhat slow to my liking.

ill see if someone can take a video this weekend at our big bird event. I will pullot from hover for comparason.

Doh. Thanks. How does the Pro flow feel in hover mode? I have just over half gallon through a 30 and can live with a semi peaky hover, but do not want to add weight. My Slick is great on pull out.

Here is the install of a Mintor 38 on my EF Extra. I had to move the firewall back about 1/2 inch.

All done, wow it rips a Vess 19B! I will break it in with this and try a 20 inch prop.

i would be ordering a replacement but i also have a 60cc setup on the bench. i think im on hold until DA gives me a 35cc engine. Dont get me wrong, i LOVED this extra to death, literally, but I can only imagine swinging a bigger prop, and the airframe becoming more stable yet!
