3DMAC, gotta love it! You can't buy a rush like a good low grass-stained 3D flight I'm pretty proud of my SFG's on my 48" EF Edge that have turf scuffs on the top and bottom of both SFG's.....3DMAC baby!!!

PS - Nothing against IMAC.....I have great respect for ANYONE that has that has discipline to perfect a routine and be judged on it regardless of weather conditions. Hats off to true IMAC pilots!!!

3DMAC sounds great. Terry I think you are on to something. The first sequence should start with a pop top to a cross box humpty bump to a centered blender and then reverse shark tooth with a snap roll on the down line. This sounds like fun.

Hell Yea! The advanced sequence ends with an inverted harrier with rudder scrape at show center

There are 10 manuvers in a normal sequence we will have 5 3D and 5 normal and we will do them as unknowns.

Last year at huckfest, my warm-up sequence ended with and inverted prop scrape on the ground....learned that those props don't scrape as good as rudders!

Probably should do the 5 imac maneuvers first, then hope to get to the 5 3D maneuvers......

Great story, Crashflow,

"Now lets hear all your storys!"
I got into RC airplanes in 1976. Back then I flew a Graupner Taxi 59" trainer and a Graupner Mosquito 100" glider, guided by a Simprop system. We had no RC clubs back then in Rio, so we flew at the construction site of what would later be runway 10-28 of Galeao Intl Airport in Rio de Janeiro (such good days - this would NEVER be allowed today). I joined a proper flying club in 1979.

I flew hang gliders during some 3 to 4 years in the early 80s, then dropped hang gliding for a private pilot's licence, which I earned in 1986. By 1989 I had a commercial licence + CFII. That is another story entirely, but goes to show the love for everything airborne.

Back to RC: in 2005, influenced by a friend I bought a Raptor 50V2 glow-powered helicopter and got hooked in helis. From that, I got an electric T-Rex 450SE V2 and a Miniature Aircraft X-Cell Spectra-G, which got me hooked on gasoline engines. Now that I'm revisiting non-electric airplanes (got a few foamies), I'm diving into gasoline for fixed-wing as well. Currently I'm in the process of retrofitting a new DLE 55 engine into a pre-owned 33% Citabria. This gotta be fun!

Now my models are all electric or gasoline-powered. I'm done with glow fuel.

Great story brunobl I would love to get my pilots license one of these days, but for now I have to enjoy my rc airplanes. Have fun with the Citabria, you will have to share some pictures when you complete it.

Sounds like someone needs to invent a propsaver for gassers like the foamies have.
