Question
50cc Biplane ARF's

Fellas,

My 4 year old son is really into biplanes. So, I thought it would be fun to put together a 50cc sized bipe for him to watch me fly and eventually take it over someday (after trainer, and other planes of course).

Please tell me about some of the 50cc bipe ARF's out there.

So far, I know about the PAU Pitts and Aeroworks has a couple. Any other choices I should consider?

I'm a fan of Aeroworks, and have their 50cc Ultimate. Flies great. Some of the choice will be based on personal tastes. I like the look of the Ultimate. The Pitts has a shorter fuse length, and some prefer that look. Good luck!

I DID think about that when I posted, but "sexy beast" was just the right description for it!

Like somebody described it at the Wenatchee Huckfest, "It's like a football with wings!" It is just a hoot to fly and ALWAYS gets the attention at the field!

Regards,

Astro

I flown a few of them and owned the Aeroworks 50cc Ultimate. The ultimate is the best all around flyer ( Imac or 3D) out of all the 50cc birds! It is also durable and built very well.....a little heavy( like all Aeroworks planes) but just flat out flys awesome.

James

Sold it recently ...but here is a link to the add and description of the build.

Was hoping that Extreme Flight would come out with a 50cc bipe. I recently asked Chris (owner of EF) and he said that was nothing in the works. It's ashamed as I am sure they would design it light and a little bigger than the 50cc bipes currently available. Powered by a DA-60 on a tuned pipe, it would be an awesome combo. Maybe someday...

Don't meant to offend anyone, but isn't the world Models Ultimate Bipe a copy of the old Aeroworks?
