I didn't manage to post it yesterday but my replacement wings came in! They were well packed and looked good!

Meanwhile I threw together a light weight platform which will raise to the ceiling of my garage and get the air frame out of the guest bedroom, and closer to where I can work on it. That'll hang from a hoist meant to hold 8 bicycles, just ordered.

Did I mention this is all going to take me a while?

Someone said a little bit back that the built in thrust on the firewall was 2 degrees and it needs 3 degrees. Can anyone confirm that and is there an easy way to measure it for certain. I guess you can use an SWB 1 degree mounting plate for a DA120 to make it right.

Dear friend hi,

Yes i confirm that 3deg + needed for right thrust depends on your propeller.
A single washer of 1mm up and down on the oposite side will give you the additional one Degree on the DA120cc.

Regards

Alexandros

Hey there, I just traded in my EF stuff and ordered the 35% extra as my first krill. I have a 40% carf I love, and am hoping the same for this one. I didn't realize it didn't come with any hardware though. Do you mind sending me a list of this hardware I'll need to get her going? Thanks! Brandon

here are the turnbuckle lengths( actual turnbuckle length with out ball link attached)
ail-75mm
Rud-35mm
Elev-55mm

Interesting about the second rudder surface horn not being there. Is there a second slot cut in the rudder? my second rudder horn was in the hardware pack...

regarding the cross bracing, Its not needed. the 35% has a much stiffer fuzz than the 41%. we just added the Bracing for own piece of mind. No issues have been reported what so ever from all the pilots flying the 41% extras. It also just looks cool

I run Hitec 7955's on Ail x4, 7950's with boosters on elev and a 7990 on the rudder, all at 7v through a power box. the 7955's are amazing on 7v. I run these throughout my 41%

no bushings needed on the phenolic hinges.

I used 10mm ply for the back plate. take a quick look at the pics of my engine install. Its a bit crude but it works a treat also add an extra washer to increase the right thrust, a little more is needed than set in the cowl.

feel free to pop over a PM, send me your email address and I can email you over the secraft list.....

oh did you get the tank tray?[/QUOTE]

Hi I'm having trouble reconciling the recommendation in here for 0 degrees incidence on wing and +1 degree on horizontal stab. I have discussed with 3 other pilots that are known well in the world, and have been told to set it up at +.5 on the wing and 0 on the stab. In fact one of the pilots even tried the recommendation in this thread and said it did not work until they went to the above specifications and that these settings in here will not work. So I'm pretty confused I'm only an intermediate flyer at best and this is my first Krill. Now I don't know what to do, or understand the reasons for positive stab incidence.

I'm installing a second rudder horn below the one that is provided, but having trouble finding a matching Phenolic horn, do I have to go through Chief / Krill or is there another alternative anyone else has found?

I agree....It would be beneficial to hear from Krill AND those world-renowned pilots on recommended setups for this plane.

wheels wheels wheels

What main wheels are most of you using and how much did you have to cut away from the wheel pants? How much clearance did you leave?

And what tail wheel?
