Thanks Dave. I was planning the two blade only for those locations where the three blade like mej 29x12 just doesn't have the pull.
Just this weekend we Imac comped in a location that was high, hot and windy. All the lads on three blades changed over to two blades and the 30x13evoL was one on a DA200 with cans. It had the most impressive pull in uplines all weekend.

Wondering if anyone has experience with the GP176EVO on proflow large smooth pipes running the Mej 30x13EVOL two blade prop.

What sort of vertical up line performance did you see and rpm on the ground.
I have both Mej and Falcon 30/13's and 31/12's. All my experience is with. DA170 on RE2's but I feel that the 176 with smooth pipes will be much stronger than the DA I had. The 30/13s were nice but fast. The snaps on my H9 Sukhoi where a little harder to nail down vs the 31/12s. So my preference prop for IMAC on my Sukhoi is the 31/12. And it is easier to control noise. Speed is much easier to control on the 31/12 also.

Seeing as how other people like the 32x11W and 32x12 from Falcon it seems the props for this motor might be 31x12 for IMAC and then 32x10 - 32x12 for 3D. Although I could see how 32x10 might also work well for IMAC.

31x12 would be good prop for iMAC at sea level. Thats why i plan the 29x12 three blade, however this last weekend the guys on the 12 pitch props really struggled for up line drive on the 12 pitch.

Saw a guy last weekend running a falcon 30x14 on his imac plane with da170 on pipes. Wonder if anyone has tried this on the gp176evo/proflow pipes combo for imac style?

Hi Roger, Not sure but I can say that it would spin that prop like a hurricane. I tested the 30X 13 and it's much too light if using the pipes.

Thanks Dave,
Then the falcon 31x14 might be the place to be.

I've seen video of joe smith running the 31x14 on a drop muffler da200 and it looked awesome .

I'm just trying to ensure the motor pipe combo doesn't get over loaded and drop under its power band on the pipes.
