Thanks Bill. Assuming that both engines are if fact 3W 170s does either present a better feel for a linear transition?

yup no worries Dave!

WX permitting this coming weekend I'll have a better idea of how this new configuration of rear dumps and longer headers pan out.

I installed a Large Double Canister Mount yesterday and took a few pictures. These will all be on the web site as well with step by step Verbage.

Nice clean install. I like that you don't have to hack the plane up to modify.

Thanks Guys, On the pilot RC Yak-55M this it what is nessisarry on the bottom of the fuse. The factory has installed an air grill that is about 18" long but with a 10.5" header you still have to modify the bottom for stinger outlet.

Not that it needs to be said again but Dave really is a first class guy. I just called to place an order expecting voice mail on a Saturday and he took the phone call from the flying field and spent 15 minutes giving me detailed advice. Far and above on expected CS.

Thank so much Dave for your continued support.

Dave, well i managed a few short preceeded by a maiden flight today. I purposely left my 3W170 on the "fat" side. The only burble I felt was from just above 1/4 stick to mid stick and from 1/2 stick on up,,, it was on,,, nice and clean smooth going. Its all a matter of dialing in the low end I'm sure. So after I correct my nose heavy issue I'll play with the needles somemore and have a better report for you with my longer header setup

BTW, the WX here today was just absolutely perfect at Rabbit Dry Lake

I'am curious, do you need to program a throttle curve for a DA 60 with the proflow canister.

Its an exhaust, it makes the engine less noisy. Of course you need to program in a curve to suit your individual preference of where you want the tx stick to be when the engines running at certain speed. You'd still need to do it with a tuned pipe.

I might be mistaken but i thought the Proflow is a canister not a tuned pipe...

I meant, with an exhaust or without or even with a tuned pipe a curve is needed in our style of flying to fine tune the Tx stick position where you like it best when your flying at certain throttle speeds. An exhaust alone even a tuned pipe will not compensate for stick position without sacrificing performance upstream
