Okay, I received it. From what I can tell (there is a lack of specifications) it gets its power from the receiver side. I have some 2S powered powersafe receivers...is the quad current meter safe on 2S?
UPDATE: Still no specifications, but this page mentions 8.4 volts. |

yes you are fine running straight lipo with the quad meter. I have used it for several years on 8.4V.

Where can i order one of these quad meters? The website says, call to check availability. I called the number, they say, they only accept calls on Thursday and Friday. And even then, they mention they may not get to the phone.
Anyone know of another area this can be ordered from? |

just ordered it from them. Thank you. Wish me luck, i have ordered from him in the past and stopped, due to him sending me a broken prop and the problem was not the prop being broken, but his response. Anyways, i cannot find it anywhere else, so i just took a 55 dollar gamble!

Sorry for your troubles with Jeff. He used to live a few miles from me and flew at one of the clubs i Belong to. He does this job and flys full scale professionally and moved to Texas. Hopefully it was just a fluke.

these servos will bind and not make a sound, until it is real high, so yes, you definitely need this quad meter for JR brushless servos,. |

Setting up my MPH83T'S I found the fromeco amp meter to be useless. When these servos bind there is hardly any amp draw increase. I found the easiest method of setting up my servos was to set up one servo perfectly and then set the other servo up to match throws. Airwild unihubs really help out along with good geometry. Once set up I place the ball link in the horn with no bolt. Slowly move the surface with only one servo fully connected. I follow the travel looking at the hole in the empty horn. If there is a slight variation I will use the balance feature to adjust it. Best to have the surface vertical to keep gravity from affecting anything.
