It was mentioned to sand down the trailing edge of the prop. If your fingers get hit by the prop it will be the leading edge that will probably get you. Only sand lightly the back side of the heavier blade for balance. If you do not have a balancer, buy one. Balance every prop you own. I would recommend an 18x6 prop. I just looked up the specs on your 33. Evolution recommends a 25:1 synthetic oil mix. I feel like this too much oil in the gas. 35 or 40:1 synth sounds closer to correct. If you are mixing 25:1 could be one reason it is hard to start. Unless this is required for this engine. You might ask some of the engine gurus here about that. Never use starting fluid in this engine. It might cause damage. The biggest mistake you can make flipping with your hand is to flip with quick repeats. I see this a lot. Flip through with a slight pause between flips.

The weather has been bad here so no updates but have spoken to a local flier who will help me next week. My Evo manual does suggest an electric starter but so many people told me not to bother with one.
After break in I will increase the size of the blade.
Per manual I'm using 20/1 for first gallon (am using Stihl ultra for mix).

Scott! Glad I found you here. I'll be around this Friday, but the weather looks crap. Maybe next week we will have some good weather. I'll bring the rascal 110 out.

Good weather? Been tough to find lately... Still haven't flown her yet. Ordered an electric starter.
