Put a little time on the engine today. Ran a 1/2 tank at idle to 1/2 open. I then hooked a tack to it and went full throttle with a Falcon 23X9 on the DLE 55RA and a homemade header. This test run also had the Pro-Flow med canister with a rear dump exhaust.

Smooth transition from dead idle to full throttle 7,320 RPM Have not touched the high needle yet.
When I get out to the field the day I do the maiden flight I will tune it then. I’m sure the weather will be much different then.

Today it was cold in the mid 30’s that Pro-Flow sure is quite and the prop made all the noise. Cannot believe just how quite the Pro-Flow canister is.

I’ll be putting together very similar set up. Except the canister that came from Troybuilt.

It would be great if you could share some more info.
- the length of your header.
- the total length of the header and the coupler? (From the cylinder head to where the canister starts.)

On this forum. It talks about CG and the mistake by Pilot in the manual.

If we look at the manual I got with the plane you can see. I think they mixed up the placement of the set-up.

It looks like it should read Edge-540 87" 141mm
Edge-540 107" 165mm
Edge-540 122" 175mm

Doe's this look right?
