Sullivan makes them ... they are 24 volt (2x12v batteries) but they are close to 600 bucks...Tower Hobbies sells Sullivan starters , as well as others that sell Sullivan products

My hand came for free, so far, it works on 50, 75, 85, 100, 106, 111, 150, 157, 170, 275cc's. Works great,..... but it got caught in the cookie jar once or twice....

A buddy of mine has one at our field that was purchased from hobbyking and he used it on a 111 cc with no problems at all.

Or save some money and just have someone you don't like very much start your plane...

Sullivan makes some impressive starters though.

I have never had an issue starting by hand.
If I had / have to flip more then 5 - 8 times on a stone cold engine, something is wrong.
I sure would hate to turn a 150cc engine over with a starter on my carbon fiber spinner.
Can I ask what is the reason you are looking to use a starter for ?

Guys, not everyone has two good arms and hands. Maybe the OP has a valid reason why he needs a starter.

I've seen some big-azz Sullivan starters hooked up to a car battery. That would be a good place to start looking.

I've got one of those oversize starters. Haven't used it. Don't know if someone who couldn't flip could drive it. It is a beast and definitely not a one hand operation. Would want to have the plane tied down VERY well.

Might make sense when it was really cold or something like that.
