first of awesome job on the coverage....

ive been flying RC for about 20 years, but how do they control the variable pitch prop? is it a switch they hit and its mixed with the throttle? it's too advanced for me, but im just curious

After watching all the videos I was very impressed with the flying and it's interpretation to the selected music. I certainly agree with the judges 1st place> Gernot is just a notch above-----what graceful flying and fantastic interpretation of the music.

set it up like a helicopter...
pitch curve and throttle curve...
flip a switch to "idle up" just like flying a heli

Gotta say Gernot is kicking butt at the freestyle portion. His flying to the music is just awesome! Also it is very smooth and precise at the same time!

Names are those pilots who have flown in the ETOC before. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this was Joe Smith's first year at ETOC.

As far as my name (and others), they had the current pilot's list down for the cards to show the pilot names before each flight (although they weren't used).
