Gasoline fuel can options?

Are there any sources left for electric pump gasoline cans used for models?

The Jersey site doesn't list the motor pump anymore or did I miss something?

I'm looking at the "maxx pump" version on the regular 5g jug. Considering the assembly looks compatible to hang on the 2g jug I already have, thinking I could swap it back and forth, for a little versatility... I'd like the 5g for contests and travel, and the 2g for home field use.

I have a 2g w/manual pump, but gosh dang it's a pain to fill a 64oz tank... and I'm always mixing fuel.. technically you only get 4 tanks(at 64oz) from a 2g gas can. Lol. With a 5g can I can get more, although I'd still only mix 3-4 gallons until I can gauge weight of it.

The VP jug w/graylor pump looks nice, but not as versatile for me.

Which version are you using, and I'm wondering how the maxx pump compares to the graylor?.. if you might know.. thanks.

I have the 5G for gas and kero with the maxx pump and use them several times a week and they have been holding up great.
I'm not sure about the graylor

The only thing I would suggest is that you spend the extra money to get the adjustable speed pump. Pressure during filling is not an issue, vacuum when emptying the tanks can be fatal to tanks.

Some manufacturers like Jet-Tech, warn you not to use any pump supplied with more than six volts or they will not warranty their tanks and those are Kevlar. Vacuum is even more hazardous to fiberglass tanks.

I speak from experience with the fiberglass tanks.....

Quick question since you've been using these set-ups, and I've now ordered one up...

How does the included Nimh pack(10s=12v) hold up?, and are you charging that while on the jug, or removing it(or the assembly) for charging?

Just getting a gauge on it is all. I'm just not sure charging any battery that's directly adjacent to a gas can is safe... and it all looks easy to remove for charging.

My jug will ship next week, as they're all at Nall, and I'm a patient guy anyway. It will be nice to not have to hand crank 60oz's of fuel though. I should have done this years ago. Thanks

I pull it out and charge it on the bench, both my gas and kero jugs are holding up for over a year now. I figured I'd be throwing a Lipo in there or something by now

Im running my Jersey Mod with the Greylor pump on a 5200 2S lipo. So far, so good when filling or draining the Skywing ARS tank.
