I notice how quick you all are to bash Chinese motors and be so loyal to US motors {DA} yet the very majority are flying Chinese built planes cause there so damm cheap. Don't see ya all bucking up for Bob Violet Props which are generally twice the price of the Child abuse human rights abuse Chinese sweat shop third world cheap labour built planes what's the difference personally I build my planes because I then know what I got and take much pride when people ugle over my work .Seems this is not so much a hobby anymore but more of a sport where you just buy your gear and use it no more pride in your work it's become a sport.

I buy Chinese products at walmart, but nothing I want or expect to have 5 years from now. Disposible products mainly. just my 2 cents.

ok, bob violet props from Thailand, and i believe the jugs on a DA are from Australia, ...... loyality to DA is because of the people behind the engine, not so much that's it's american made.

Loyalty has to be earned,Desart Aircraft got mine 3 years ago and make sure i havent had a reason to look elseware....Just my experiance.......Funny thing is,the only reason i bought my first DA was on looks alone.

I'm flying a DA 50 myself right now it's serial number 168 or something like that there was no other choice. My point is that people made comments to boat anchors and put it in a cheap airframe well that's funny because for the most part almost all arfs are cheap aiframes.

The jugs are not made in Australia.
But the ignition is by Ian Howard (Howie) DA Australia

Hmmm.... I know Dennis and Caroline.... and I never knew they were from China..
