My advice is get rid of the nic metal

Got the same problem with a small pack. Have to charge at a lower rate and keep on pumpin it in.

I use the swallow and it is no good for nic metal

On my super nova 250, I dont use the Nimh setting because it keeps dropping out, I use Nicad to charge my Nimh, works great. However, I have had it happen if I charge at to low a rate that it does not cut out, I actually had the charger reading over 8000 mah in a 2100 pack, solely because the rate was to slow.

Cant go wrong with Li-Ion batteries from Fromeco (Fromeco Peerless is all thats available in Oz now). Howie stocks them, get onto him, you wont regret it!!! Heaps of flights per pack before requiring a charge and safer than NiMh Nicad. You can use the Fromeco regulators that Howie also stocks, however my setup is running regulators from Powerbox that then connect directly to my heavy duty JR switches, simple and effective.

Cheers

I had the same problem thaught it was me.I have 2 x3300 packs driving servoes.Found using a trickle charger a frend made the best.Downside is it takes forever to get a deep charge in or peaking them with an omni charger. The super nova I have holds plan corners down.

Being cautious with the 2x2, I got 13 flights still with volts in the "safe" range to fly...Interested to see how the 2.6 goes.
