Well. I got sick of trying to find the hole for the control horn to thread into. So I decided to just pull the covering off.

Turns out there is No hole drilled!!

You are correct. There definatly is No Hmmm about it. A step was missed. Its a easy fix.

Bill had me phone him directly so we could talk. I have to say Bill Hempel is a Stand Up Guy!!!

He wants to make sure I'm happy with the Yak.

He is willing to do more then I feel is necessary to correct the problem. He made sure I knew exactly how to do the repair so its strong.

As I see it when you are not able to oversee every step for the building of the planes. Something might get missed. You hope it doesn't. But it happens. Thankfully it doesn't happen often!

From what I have seen. His planes are Top Quality, and as Bill told me this is the first time he has had this issue. So thats a Good Track Record!!

Bill said when he can get ahold of the builders, he wants to try and find out what happened.

This is my first BH plane. But it Won't be my Last!!!!

I will keep you guys posted on my repair and the rest of the build!!

Yippy, welcome to the 21st Century.

Now I'm willing to let this subject rest, but if we need to dig deeper, I'm here...

So lets kiss and make up

Well, got my 100cc Yak55 today! Looks good. LHS ordered the new hardware packs, so will get them soon.

BTW, were the wheels and fuel tank included before, or are they part of the new hardware packs?
Waiting for my DLE 111 now....yeay!!

Cheers
Ed

On the 50cc version.

Where and how did you guys mount your Throttle Servo?

I'm running a Evolution 58.

I tried to find a post that showed a throttle servo mounted on a 50cc. But I couldn't find one.

Thanks
Trevor

50cc throttle mount idea

Hi Trevor,
I mounted mine behind the fire wall as in these pics.. Hope it helps a little..

Of course, this is a DA-50, not sure about the orientation for your engine..
