It might be hard to see, but pay attention to the MPH part of the "NavGuides".

Actually...it is....just that nobody puts one in a sequence because of its difficulty.

We have a special trash can at our field reserved just for the wreckage of guys that have tryed the 0 of 8. I've been tempted many times to try it, but I just look at that trash can and all those thoughts go away.

Earle

It was in the Tucson shootout but when invitational pilots started to boycott they had to take it out.

Leesburg did it during his freestyle and cost him a plane. I can’t post the video from here, but I’m sure someone has it.

I don't see what the fuss is all about. The sportsman sequence in pattern (the lowest class) has not one but TWO 0X8.

I can't believe this thread is still up, I would have thought moderators for fear of a total site shutdown would have stopped this already. You have been warned. Its out there looking for you...the 0 of 8

I shall no longer speak of that we fly.

Correct... As a member of the sequence committee... we have regular conference calls regarding this.. and the fact that while legal... it is just not worth the risk of life or limb to use them in our sequences....
When I was new on the committee... I tried to write one.. and my laptop burst into flames...

The only thing as close to difficulty as the 0 of 8 is the p of 4.

I have attempted to run a CFD simulation of a "Zero-of-Eight" several times...

I have tried to run a Steady State, Incompressible, compressible... everything....
I can't get the analysis to converge!!

I have tried to coarsen the Mesh, refine the mesh, increase the y+, inviscid... full turbulance and even full laminar....

It just won't converge and the thermodynamics of the analysis assymptotically approach infinity!!!

On the other end of the IMAC spectrum, the easiest manuever is obviously the "Tree Point Roll"
