G3.5 is very realistic as far as normal planes go.

Re: My idea: Wings tapered in the opposite way

Brain,

I've got access to a laser cutter and CNC foam cutting equipment. If you want to see the plane fly, then draw it in cad, send the files to me and I'll cut and build it for you. All you need to do is cover the costs of the raw materials. This is a serious offer, because you havn't let this idea of your die out, even with all the kicks to the teeth on it.... PM me if you are interested

I still need a patron.

LJJ would build a foam but he has not experience in electric flyght.

I think you misunderstood...

I am overqualified in the electric "flyght" area.... I started www.3dfoamy.com

What I told you was this- I didn't think glueing the wings on backwards on the Great planes foam plane was to original, and you need to come up with your own design.

Re: My idea: Wings tapered in the opposite way

Lets get this out.....

Right now you are saying that you have an awesome idea.... but you are not exploring how to make this work. It's like all the people that said "Gee, wouldn't it be cool to have lights" It was the WORK of Mr. Thomas Edison that made that comment of many a reality.

You need to spend some time and come up with some detailed specs on your plane... Accurate cad drawings, airfoil, size, power req., and then YOU will have done something.

It isn't necessary. It would be enough that a modeler who likes to build planes built for example a Mojo 40 with opposite tapered wings.

Cad drawings? Airfoil? Size? Power? No, it's good what already exists.

Ok.... so do it. No need for a patron I see.

Good luck... my last post on this thread.

Then I told him: build that plane
$ 34.99 ("I send you money") at http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXJCC2&P=7

building the wing in the opposite way.

He asks me "accurate cad drawings, airfoil, size, power req."

Why?

I think it's easier to build that plane than a new one.

I have never understood some people.

But my idea is very good, aerodynamically advanced

BIGBRAIN
you just had a serious offer from a guy that knows what he is talking about, this is your chance to prove your design is better, all you have to do is buy the materials and he is going to cut it out and build it for you how much easier than that can you get and that is what you have been asking for the last 7 pages, so take the man up on his offer or start a new thread on some other idea.
ENJOY!

Looks like what BB wants is a "patron" to design, cad, build and test his idea at their expense, then get in line to pay him for his brilliant idea.

You need to work in your idea, Bigbrain, no one will work for you on the idea.
Someone offers you help and the only thing that happens is that you make your helper runaway.
You will never understand.
Saludos.

I understand very well.
For example I have suddenly understood that with this ridiculous vehicle
http://www.kidport.com/REFLIB/Scienc...A11_LMfull.gif

thrusted from the bottom, nobody could in 1969 land on the moon keeping it in hovering.
This ridicolous vehicle would have fallen in all directions at 360 degrees.
Nobody, piloting it - inside it - would have been able to keep it vertical during landing GOING BACKWARDS with the help of a ridiculous computer of 1969.

Before talking, dear little guy, you need to link with your brain.

wow this is almost as bad as the thread on rcu lol! big brain, no one is going to build the plane for you. someone offered to give you the materials at cost and you tell him no. if you want the plane to be built so goddam bad, then take the guy up on the offer and give him the specs to cut out the parts. if not, stop posting!

big brain, with an absence of air and gravity, an object will fall at the same rate of velocity untill such time a n opposing force counteracts it. in space, with no gravity (as such, there is some obviously, well, a lot) and no air, it will be stable falling.

tell me "big"brain, you know a guy called Italian Flyer?
