Hey this mortal is in the dark as well.
Tony does a lot of the hands on testing for Smart-fly on many things, some of which never see the light of day so you dont show off secrets if your not going to let them fly. Good marketing ploy just the same. |

Re: EQ 6 & Ignition CO, what am i doing wrong?...
Hi all,
On the Eq6 you have to set the Ignition Cutoff channel in the option menu. As it comes, it defaults to channel 6. To get into the option menu you have to have the channel selector set on a channel between 2 and 7 (so an LED will blink), usually the channel you want to put the Cutoff on, and set the function selector to 9. You then have to hold both INCR and DECR pushbuttons down while turning on the power and hold them down until a channel LED starts blinking slowly. To change the Cutoff channel you would then turn the function selector to 2 and, assuming the channel was set to the one you want to assign, push both INCR and DECR for about 2 seconds until the LED changes to the channel you have selected. I know this sounds like a lot but once you go though it once it should be easy. The "secret unit" is a 12-channel PowerSystem, no matching. I just sent Kiwi some installation photos from Tony. This should be out in early August. I am working on new units as fast as I can. |

Re: EQ 6 & Ignition CO, what am i doing wrong?...
The new system is basically a 14mz powerexpander, Turbo Reg, and Ign Cutoff all in one. This is great for those of us that are using JR 12x or Futaba 12/14 channel systems.

Hi,
We are looking into that. First I will have a unit we will sell in pairs that has a SuperReg, 6-channels with Equalizers and a single battery input. I hope to sell a pair of these for about the same price as an Eq6 Turbo. |
