Hi I could use some advice bought a used dle 55 it will not idle below 3200 rpm when eng is cold starts right away but when you shut it down does not like to start also prop kicks back when trying to start second time replaced carb same issue thank for any help

This is after you have tuned the engine correct?

Is the idle stop screw still installed? If so remove and commence with the tuning process. The prop kickback is probably timing too advanced.

Thanks I will work on it tommorow I will retard timing the idol problem is frustrating I can't get it close to the idol stop screw before it stalls hopefully fixing the timing problem will make it easier to fix idol problem thanks for the advice

Thanks for advice unfourtonatly no help after prop kicked back and smashed my hand again I am done with this eng so I bought a brand new one started it today runs and idles like it should will eventually send old eng in to be repaired hope for maiden flight by weekend once again thanks for input
