I can't stand it anymore. I'm going to put my NIB Sukhoi together. I can't decide if I want to recover the old one or sell it. $650 if anyone wants it before I start stripping it.

The new one will give me something to fly while I strip and recover the one I have been flying for three years.

I'm going to go with a more scale Sukhoi SU26 scheme. I like the stock H9 scheme fine as it shows well in all light conditions, but as the popularity of the plane has taken off, there seems to be two or three at every contest now. That, plus it will give me something to piddle with in the shop on cold, rainy days over the winter.

I think it would look and show good with the tan side area of the fuse changed to purple

I think I will cover my Pro is white with a big black stripe down the middle of the fuse and top of the wing with a black stripe on the wing bottom. After watching Rick Byrd's plane I discovered that with my Extreme Glare sunglasses that I could see the white in the deep blue Texas sky but the blue on his plane disappeared!! I had forgotten how deep blue that Texas sky is!! The Arkansas sky blue comes pretty close to that of the Texas sky too!!

The light orange of the Sukhoi and the crème fuse line just didn't compute to me. If the orange was as bright as, say, Chevrolet engine orange, then maybe it would show up better for me but as it is that's why Phillip is flying it instead of me!! BTW, Phillip is really coming along in his IMAC career!!

I agree. It would contrast well, almost like the Blue/Orange on your plane.

Well, crap. I finally got it out of the trailer and moved it in the shop. I couldn't bring myself to start taking the guts out.
