So I did not buy the jet. I actually truly believe that this was a stolen jet. It is not too often you see something like this at an antiqueshow/swap meet. The guy I was talking to new nothing about the jet. He said he bought it from someone in Tampa. Who knew nothing about it. I emailed a picture to a local Jet guy. And he informed me that there were parts left in the jet that should have went with the jet engine. That made me believe even more that it was stolen. I did go back and offer the guy $300 to see if he would take it. I figured if I spent $300 and someone claimed the jet we could probably work something out . I was hoping someone would recognize this jet if it was indeed stolen so it could have been returned to the rightful owner .

Thanks

Adam

Since I was not 100% sure it was not stolen I did not feel good about profiting on someones misfortune

by looking at the dust build up I would say it was not stolen. along with the age of the equipment form the pics with old analog servos . probably at least 10 years or more old. my bet would have been someone who past away jet. heck I see older rc planes and helis from time to time at flea markets.

Thank you for taking the time to post this. At least it was a good idea to let others know, just in case it may have been lifted. If not, nothing to bother.
