Smoke Muffler?

I want to add smoke to my dla 112 motor. do i need a set of smoke mufflers? or will it work to just drill and tap to add a nipple into the current muffler. Do you need to add it to both mufflers or just one? does the oil need to be pre heated or just dropped straight in?
thanks

Drill and tap for nipples. No preheating...gas mufflers get plenty hot.

It works better if you have coils to preheat...

Copper/Brass will eventually crack and break with the vibration. Stainless works the best.

gas is so hot that the oil evaporate when you first start the muff... (still best to wait a minute... ) just tap, nipple, and go direct! good luck!

+1

Especially with an engine this size. The bigger the engine, the more heat available to make smoke.
