I want to show you one cool video, its my RC buddy Vitalijus Pilkionis very interesting flight in local Artistic Aerobatic conest. He flew his 2m Extra fun from 3W, powered by DL-50, with rtf weight only 5,6kg, it have simply sick power, deffinately skocky type plane. He was pushing plane hard, and durring flight he lose cockpit, as we suspect durring brakeoff coskpit hit rudder, and affter one snap all rudder section fell of! And it was not big problem for Vitalijus, he did not finish his routine but he land plane safe. Here is video;

Only the rudder fell off, so it isn't that hard to land it safely Flying without a cockpit isn't that scary either, happens all the time....

Thread title say ALMOST In any case i find this video quite entertaining, and decide to share it with you, overal its not each day experience landing plane without some parts. Besides i have bad feeling that with DL-50 trust its just matter of time, when it will have to land with one wing Video don't show actual trust to weight ratio, imagine how 3m plane look with 300cc engine....

Yes thats most important, as you can see from pictures, pieces were found, Vitalijus already fix and flew plane, everything is ok.

Wow! A lot of people would lose their cool in that kind of situation. Kudos to the pilot.
