You got that right, EF gas planes are nice but always super-sized. I wish they would have kept the old 88" Extra 300.

There has to be a million DA50 and DLE 55's looking for a home.

My first 50cc plane had only an 84" ws; this was in 1996. Before long, the 30cc airframes will have grown to this size, and there will be a use for all those old DA50 and DLE 55s!

Here's some rough footage of Colton flying my 74" Extreme Flight Edge powered by DA35 and small jtec pitts.
This was only a few flights in, on this engine... it's had a few more on it since then.
Sneaking up on a good solid tune, and starting to gain a lot more trust in it.
Will post more video after another gallon or so... but it has more than enough power for this plane, already
Colton flying EF 74" Edge w/DA35 at...

My first two only have the Pitts... but I recently picked up another for my MXS, and it will get special treatment.
Like... the same combo as in Jase's plane in the video you posted earlier.
I'm replacing a DA50, the heaviest 50cc pitts muffler I know of, and a few oz ballast.
Going to save right at 2lbs and make almost the same power as my current setup
.

I actually just realized that your posted video was from last year, airbone33... and not Jase's. I only saw the description.
Can't believe nobody posted this one here yet.

This is Jase flying his MXS, DA35 w/ES Composites Pipe. (The video I'd thought you posted previously. Oops!)
Power seems somewhat close to the DA50 with a restrictive pitts on it.
(Obviously the 50 on a less restrictive muffler or a tuned pipe still make way more power)

I just bought the DA35. I have a question. I plan on running the engine in a 78"Extreme Flight Extra with a small Proflow front dump canister. Do I need to have a canister mount with this small canister?

I got the Proflow from VV. before they changed brands. They had a closeout.
