I have used the EQ6 in the past and it is worth the money IMHO. There is an EQ6 Turbo for sale in the swap shop if you could use one with a regulator on it. It is super simple to set up the dual aileron servos with the EQ6.

Rudder is changing its center position when I go back and forth between low and high rates and it's enough to really mess up the trim in flight. Pretty sure it did not do this when new though not sure just how long its had this problem. Doesn't seem to be a problem on any other channel but it does occur on the 3 different models I had at the field today. I've gone through all the menus and can't find anything out of the ordinary. I don't have any conditions set up nor am I using any mixes.

I have a very stable and up to now working well set up so my software hasn't been updated in a while either.

Anyone else ever have this or have any specific menu items to take another look at?

thx.

Guess what? The OST was set to 0 in every model so that shouldn't have been the problem, I guess. But I went ahead and decided to USE the OST to actually try and fix the problem and it works so thanks! I also tested a different plane and found one that this rudder recentering didn't occur when switching dual rates on the rudder so I still don't really know what the root cause is because I think that rules out a general rudder dual rate bug in the TX software or some electro/mechanical issue in the dual rate switch itself.

hpp-22 v1.15(1) Bug

Heads up..

"Hey guys... just wanted to give you a heads up that there is a bug in this new version on the software. Hopefully we'll have it ironed out shortly but for now, when asked if you want to upgrade to the new version just say "No."
If you have updated it then send us an email (service at hitecrcd.com) and we can send you the older version in a .zip file. - Mike. "

Got a question. How can I eliminate the need to enter a password every time I turn on the transmitter ?

Thanks.

Go to the "system" menu, touch the "info." button, touch the "password" button, enter your current password, then enter a blank password twice. It should show "password inhibited" once you've turned the function off. Exit out.

update spectra modul

Hello,
i bought an aurora9 15 days ago;
Yesterday i updated it with Hpp22 ans (version 1.15. ) Updating of transmitter works fine, the standart receiver as well, but the spectra module does not update. When turning on the TX and touching the yes icon, the PC screen shows 3 photographs repeating all the time (they show how to do the procedure) but the update of spectra is not done.

The systeme works with the optima 9 receiver.(servo mouves)

But as i want to use the minima receiver, I need to uptdate the spectra midule to 3.0

Do you have an idea how i can manage this?

thank you verry much

I use the module in a Futaba transmitter, and I updated it directly from the Hpp22 with no problem.

1. Check transmitter battery is fully charged and that the module is fully inserted.
2. Remove and replace the lead firmly into both socket P-1 of the HPP-22 and socket on the module.
Have seen errors when lead is not fully pushed into sockets, plugs are very tight first few uses.
