one thing more that i forgot to tell you to check.on the 56 i have the engine would shake a little when i first got it,turn out to be the prop hub was out of round,you could see high and low spots as you turn the hub in relation to the timming sensor.change that and the shaking was gone,that could have something to do with your lugs breaking if yours are off the same as mine.
