Re: Brillelli Engines
The prop is an 18x6 Mejzlik.. will be right around 9000 after a few tanks which is right in the sweet spot.

Re: Brillelli Engines
If anyone is interested I have a 46 GT for sale for $315 and I'll pay shipping. Nothing wrong with it and only 2 Gal run through it. Nothing against it but I did an oops on E-Bay and ended up with a bigger engine and need to off set the money I spent. Brillelli is a good engine IMO and the coustomer service is very great. Oh yeah motor mounts and a Xoar 21x8 prop come with the deal. Email me at shepardsons@bresnan.net if interested.

Re: Brillelli Engines
Hi. My first giant/gas project will be the Lanier Yak 54, 87" span, advertised at 16-18 pounds, recommended engine 50 to 80 cc. (Although most people think the plane is heavier than advertised, and really not a 50 cc plane. I'm looking at the Brillelli 60 cc for this plane. What do you guys think? Enough power for 3D?

Re: Brillelli Engines
I tried the 23A, 23B, NX 23-8, Menz 23-8, Mej 23-8, MSC 23-8----The Vess 23B is the best for 3D IMO--this is on a 88" EF Yak.

Re: Brillelli Engines
I have been running a Vess 23A and it pulls strong. Today I got a chance to run a 23B for a couple flights. The motor seemed to handle the load fine. It's smoother on the deck than with the 23A. It was definitely slower pulling out of a hover but still very good. I ended up running a Mejzlik 23x8 after the 23B. I have to say I believe I finally found my favorite prop. I like the way it flies with the Mejzlik and the sound is a definite plus.
Here is my preference of the props on a 17.25lb. EF Yak
