Mine arrived today ... didn’t realize how huge the plane would be. As I unpacked the contents I noticed that the covering had zero wrinkles despite the long stay in the container.

We unpacked several from the production and found minimal to no wrinkles. I was very impressed I didn’t know what to expect especially with the extended time it took to get here.

Lets us know how the build goes and if you have any questions

Thanks,
Rocco

I knew they would go fast. I've been in this hobby for a long time, and I've never been so stoked for an airframe!

I was able to maiden mine today. Simply put I am very happy that I waited for the plane. The color scheme is much better in person and the build was very easy. The fit and finish are top notch as expected. The plane sat most of the afternoon in 91 degree weather and was pretty much wrinkle free when I got home. Very pleased.

Finally making progress! This build is happening at the shop in between phone calls, emails, servicing engines, walk in customers, and anything else customer service needs...

That being said I finally finished up gluing the 40 hinges and am moving on to dropping in horns/servos/etc. after I seal all the gaps for good measure. Should go pretty smoothly as all the AW builds do!

In the meantime our DLE120 (serial number 00001) is getting some run time on the bench. There's plans to put this baby on cans so I can play with my Canadian friends up north since their fields are a little noise sensitive. Ask Geno the hands free chicken killer...
