I looked on Peaks site also....that Edge of yours says its 74" also so I dont know where the 80" is coming from.....anyway if you have the cd the balance point is listed on it.

yea it would be nice just giving the distance back from LE but I suppose its a generic instruction CD. Be too hard to have an extra table listing each models distance instead of having to go through a formula etc.
By the way is it better to balance inverted or normal way up.

OIK then can someone tell me normal/ inverted balancing theory. I understand High wing and low wing models but most of these are mid/shoulder wings.I see some photos showing balancing either way.

It shouldn't matter because X amount of distance from the leading edge of the wing is the same right side up or inverted. No reason to try to flip a larger plane over just to balance.
