It's possible you could have taken off in range check mode but you would know if you were still in that mode due to the beeping noise and it would go away after 90 seconds.

Yes, you did. I will be sending a box to you shortly, with a servo that recently failed too. I doubt it was in range check mode... not sure how I would accomplish that and there was no beeping noise. Pretty sure it's more transmitter related as I was flying that receiver with a different aurora 9 transmitter and had zero issues.

I have a question regarding the recently introduced Hitec Optima 2.4 receiver (27224) 8 channel single line designed for flybarless helicopters.
1. Is this receiver compatible with the older Hitec Aurora 9 radio?
2. Could this receiver be used in a gasoline airplane application for single line connection to a gyro designed for 3D airplanes or is this strictly designed for helicopter applications?
3. The gyro to be used is the Aura 8 AFCS introduced by Flex Innovations.

You can use the Optima SL with any single line bus application and with any Hitec 2.4 system.

Thank you for answering my question on the new Hitec Single Line Receiver. I sent two emails to Hitec Sales and never received a reply. The second email specifically asked; "why can't you answer my question at this time." NO RESPONSE!

Up until this time, I have always been happy with Hitec products and service. In fact, I love the ease of programming the Aurora 9 radio offers. Ignoring your customers is no way to do business.

Our server will sometimes snag emails and we won't get them. Which email did you send them to? We always respond to customer emails that we receive, we have guys dedicated to that.

Shawn can sometimes be busy but glad to see he sent you a reply. Alternatively, you can also send your email inquiries to service@hitecrcd.com and receive help through there. We always respond to our customer emails that we receive.

I am using Hitec Aurora 9 and Optima 9 receiver both are up to date were working fine some days before my Tx and Rx starting to delay the response of any input from the receiver. For the reference to my problem the video link is given at the end can any body tell me the solution for this problem.

In this instance, just re-link the receiver to the transmitter and it should go away. Make sure you are in Optima link mode.

How do you add more than just the 7 models that comes installed from factory to the Aurora 9?

I thought it had a 30 model memory.
