Sounds like there may be a 200 in your future
Have you calculated the moment arm for the tail. I noticed the horz stab is not in the pics. This could get intresting.

So if I'm going to buy a new trailer...how long (minimum) will it need to be? And don't say 400' like John Light's beast..LOL

I think it is going to work out good, there is still an engine cowling, prop and all the other goodies that go up front, I forgot to mention, that balance is without the landing gear, wheels, and wheel pants that mount around 10" in front of the C/G.

A 12' trailer will work fine if you pull the rudder, I built this around my Chevy Express plane hauler, it will fit in that with just the spinner off.

Well i did my best to give you an excuse to get a 200.
I like the idea of 2-170's as well maybe some type of belt driven slipper drive. If you do it you gotta chrome it. You know like the old tartan reduction drives. never mind way to much work and it would take time away from the coming snow storm.

But, for the trailer, I want to be able to keep it in the garage.

Bob, that 170 looks like your 100 in the 40%......

What header length did you go with Bob? I found that on the 85, the added 3 in extension improved my mid range big time on the Greves, which put me around a 14" header.
