Start high up, slow the airplane down to a crawl, and on 3D rate, slowly apply full up elevator.

Sometimes I will go old school 3D flying, and Elevator into a harrier into a TR.

My favorite entry to an elevator is to fly a 45 degree up line, roll over on my back, throttle back to idle, and then pull full elevator back to float down in an elevator. When i get close to the ground, I'll either harrier along or i'll fly up out of it. Been doing this a lot lately, trying to get better at harriers.

What planes are you flying? Are you dropping nose high? How fast is your ground speed?
Do spoilerons help with wing rock?
Are barking your motor?

I love elevators. My EF Edge does them at idle with zero wing rock and straight down. If there is a breeze, it will float down backwards. Quite impressive. At the bottom, I blip the throttle to enter a harrier.

For entry, I like to do it after a pop top. Personal favorite.

I get a lot of wing rock with my Goldwing 30cc MX. What choices of planes in that cc size will elevator nicely.
I looked at the 70 inch Edge.

How much elevator deflection by % you recon you have on your Edge Chuck?

I've slowly been increasing my throws on the high rates. Everything is just about maxed. It makes the Alpha stuff easier, but I find I'm having to increase Expo (have 60% on elevator now) to keep from flying too herky jerky racing through turn arounds.

One I have been practicing lately with my PRC Edge is in full 3D rates (This is maxed out on this plane) Is enter a 60 degree or so up line at 2/3 throttle, Chop throttle and immediately pull a right positive snap. When the tail comes back and is almost parallel to the ground neutralize aileron and apply a bit of throttle so the plane rotates the nose back at you and you are now falling in harrier fashion correcting with rudder and elevator and aileron as necessary. Bring it to the deck and hover or bring it to the deck and fly out in another 60 degree up line and do it again on your other side. Lots of fun! Makes a mediocre like me look good.

On my 48" EF extra, I nose dive from height and pull full elevator which deflects around 80+ degrees. No ailerons. The plane descends vertically down with wings level :-) and fuse horizontal. I think this is Parachute to elevator.
