It's still in design phase. I'm now doing an assembly in CAD, just to make sure everything fits

Non of this 1.2m stuff, thats not what I'd call a Giant Scale Foamy Sure they're bigger than the average foamy but still not quite at that Giant Scale stage.

Biggest foamy I've seen is a 72inch Extra: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...t=532038&pp=15

Bring on the 104 inch BEAST!!!!!!!!

You might not have read my earlier post correctly. I'm working on a 2.5m version (see CAD print screen). 2.5m is 98in.

Re: How about a Giant Scale Foamy

While not electric powered, I did do a 96 inch span foami for Ryobi 31.
Foamular 250 (pink) 1.5 inch thick wing, fuse framed up from 1 inch Foamular with 1/4 ply firewall and lite ply support where needed.....covered it with moneykote (right over the foam) and added smoke pump...

People say "doesn't GAS eat foam"? Only if you let it out? Keep it where it belongs and you'll be fine.

I just recompressed video of me wringing it out 10 min (30Meg and 77Meg) on my page here:

Photo gallery too...

CHEAP BIG FUN!

Spent the last two days in front of the computer... Now I have all files for the CNC mill. Will get things moving in the next few days!
